Note:
You can only edit the course content of courses that have been created by your organisation. The organisation that created a course is displayed in the “Course author” field that is shown Course Details Page.
You should not modify course content for courses which have current or previous enrolments. If you need to modify a course that has active or previous enrolments it is recommended that you duplicate the course and make the changes on the “new” version of the course.
- Login to the FLAIM Capture site.
- The FLAIM Capture Dashboard Page will now be displayed.
- Click on the "Online Courses" link displayed within the menu located on the left of the page.
- The "Online Courses" sub menu will now be displayed.
- Click on the "Course Index" link displayed within the "Online Courses" sub menu.
- The Courses Index Page will now be displayed.
- Click on the “Greater Than” icon (“>”) displayed at the right of the course which you wish to add course content to.
- The Course Details Page of the course you selected will now be displayed.
- The "Overview" TAB will be displayed. The "Overview" TAB displays details of the course.
- Click on the "Course contents" link to display the "Course contents" TAB.
- The Course contents Page will now be displayed.
- You can use the Course contents Page review the details of the various content components that are available in the course content library. Clicking on the Expand link in the search box will display a number search filters that you can use to filter and limit the search results based on the search criteria you submit. This may assist you in identifying the content you want to review. You can filter so that only certain types of content are displayed, and you can also filter so that only content applicable to a particular FLAIM System device is displayed.
- There are three types of course content:
- Quiz
- Learning module
- Immersive learning scenario
- Applying the “Type” filter to “Learning module” will configure the results so that only Learning modules will be displayed.
- You can review each Learning module to assist you to identify the Learning module you are seeking for the course by clicking on the “Play” icon displayed in the Learning module preview tile.
- To add a Learning module to the course, click on the “Add to course +” button displayed at the bottom left of the Learning module preview tile.
- The Learning module will now be displayed in the “My content” list displayed on the right hand side of the Course contents Page. A green tick and an “Added” text message will also be displayed on the Learning module tile, this indicates that the Learning module has been added to the course content.
