Setting Default Gateway and DNS

**This will depend on the hardware you are using so FLAIM will make some assumptions.

  1. Go to the Control Panel.
  2. Click Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings.
  3. Select the connection for which you want to configure (Trainer V2 is Wi-Fi). For example:
    • To change the settings for a wireless connection, right-click the Wi-Fi interface and select Properties.
    • To change the settings for an Ethernet connection, right-click the Ethernet interface and select Properties.
  4. Select the Networking tab. Under This connection uses the following items, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and then click Properties.
  5. There you will see the following IP addresses set (Please do not change)
    • IP Address : 192.168.0.13
    • Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
  6. Set the following:
    • Default Gateway : 192.168.0.1 (Whatever the IP of your modem, we do this so we don’t need to set alias IP’s for the range.
    • Select Use the following DNS server address:
      1. Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8
  7. Click OK.
  8. Restart PC
