From time to time, it may be necessary to troubleshoot system faults and issues. The following list details possible solutions:
Floor height appears too high or, facing in the wrong direction
Short press the power button on the VR headset to make the headset sleep. A second short press wakes the headset.
Whenever you see the spinning image, it’s important to look down at a clear floor (e.g. away from tables and chairs) to ensure accurate floor height calibration.
Alternatively, Floor Height Calibration in the Launcher menu activates the calibration process and instructions on where to look become visible in the headset to guide the user.
Hose tracker freezing
The hose tracker is optically tracked. Avoid blocking the line of sight between the headset and the tracker. Hold the hose instead of the tracker for best results.
Hose tracker / right controller not tracking
If a blue light is displayed on the controller or tracker, hold down the power button until the blue light turns off then single press the power button to turn on.
If not resolved, restart the headset.
Controller not charging
When using the split cable, ensure the single end is plugged into the power source and the other end is plugged into the controller / tracker.
Charging the VR headset
Charge the VR headset by connecting the AC adaptor to a power outlet, then connecting it to the headset.
Note: It is not recommended to charge the headset while in use.
Shutting down the VR headset
Press and hold the VR headset power button for 5 seconds to shut down.
The volume is too loud or too quiet
Use the controls on the bottom left-hand side of the VR headset to adjust the volume.
